My friends have asked me to make them a website for their band, Athecy. If you feel like it, check out the site so far:

For anyone that looked at the site... How much would you charge to make a site like this? How much for the effort I have put in so far (about 6 hours including the messageboard)? I told my friend $100, and he agreed, but do you think I could have got more out of it?

$100 was way too low dude, I'm charging $300 to $400 for a 10 page informational site today
but I guess it was for friends, so you can charge a little less

A full professional 1-3 page brochure site for a large company can get about £400-£600 UK (approx $800-$1000 ? )
Flash content can double this, and a database backend site can virtually command a blank cheque
but $100 for friends sounds like a good deal (as long as he lets you into gigs for free )

I'm running at 1280x1024 as well. What size do you have your font in your browser? I have the textsize on Smaller, but it still looks decent when I put it up to Medium. The friends I am making it for all use 800x600 (God only knows why ) and they still like it... Oh well, it's their site, they're paying me, so whatever they like, is what they get.
