I'm working on a section of my site where I upload my videos that I produce at school. It won't follow the normal template of my site, so is this a good start?

Yeah, that looks pretty good, but the contrast of the film wheel from top to bottom is a little strong.... I don't know, it just seems to distract my attention... Maybe blurring or something would help? (I'm sooooo not even close to being OK at photoshop, so don't know if that would help or not...) I agree about the name change though...

use some wing/web-ding thing (RHYME ALERT) for the movie reel...

simple, sophisticated style.

Just blend the contrast a bit and fill in that big black space...it would probably look ok, just looks a bit weird out of context

I have a 14.4 modem I think i payed $100 for it when i got it - that doesn't mean i use it, i also have a 66mhz computer, a few serial mouses and a few serial keyboards, a 13 inch moniter (still in use by my brother) an 8 bit sound card. a 400mb hard drive.
