Need to get MAC Address in Windows XP
Hi all, I'm a little stumped on this one since I haven't had any experience developing for Windows XP yet, so I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out.
Using the code found in this thread here:
http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...threadid=88720
...I'm able to get the MAC address for Windows 98/ME, but when it comes to Windows XP, it doesn't get anything, so I'm not sure what's going on.
If anyone could help I'd appreciate it!

Here is another link. This one has others on it. I don't have XP, so I can't try. Hope this helps. (Does XP have IPCONFIG.EXE?)

Yeah, it seems that one does the exact same thing (it even looks to be the same code for the most part). Anyone else have any ideas?

Nope, no dice. Thanks for the effort, though. I'm going to look around a bit more myself, and if I find anything I'll post it here.

I didn't get a chance to look at them all, but try this (this is what I did)
Go to http://www.codehound.com/ and put "network card" in the search box. A bunch of stuff came up, but like I said, I didn't look at all of them.
