Crystal Reports is a report generation program by Seagate. It allows you to create reports by linking to several different types of databases. It used to come with VB 5.0.

A great feature of Crystal Reports is that it can create reports on the fly and convert it to HTML if you need them to be accessible by the Web.

how much does crystal report cost and where can i get it from

To use in a vb developement environment you want Crystal Reports 8.5 Developer Edition.

I believe you can buy online at crystaldecisions.com but its a little pricey. It's a popular title and is available at most software stores, sites, etc.

I think it retails for around $600. I got my copy locally at MicroCenter for around $400.
