    modifying shell link command line

here's another one. i need to modify a shell link (shortcut) on about 90 machines running win95. i've got to change one command line option, and it would nice to automate this in a batch file (along with some other stuff). but i'm confused that i may not be able to do in vb (i have both 5 and 6.) i'm getting the idea that this is really a job for vc, which i've never used (i am a c programmer, just not under windows.) can anyone shed any light on if or how this might be done.

    thanks,
    gobo
