    i read on this site that microsoft would have service pack 4 out for vb last week ... i haven't seen it posted on microsoft's site ... did this website lie to me?

    i only want vb6 sp4

    this sp4 is for the whole visual studio 6.0
    i just want it for vb6 ... the link i have is http://support.microsoft.com/support/vbasic/runtime.asp n they only have sp3 for vb6

    Since I've posted the info about the new Service Pack I'll give you the correct URL to SP4 for VB6

    isn't this the same thing just that u clicked on vb6 from visual studio ... it's 18.4 mb !!!! i doubt that's just for vb6 alone ...

    Beleve it or not, but the whole Wisual Studio is around 140 meg

    well

    in that case i think i can live without sp4 ... it would probably take me 2 to 5 hrs downloadling it ... i'm not willing to do that ... by the way to anyone who has downloaded it ... do u get to keep the file or it just installs as soon as it downloads ... cause if the setup stays on ur harddrive then i can ask my friend with dsl to burn it on his cd-rw ...

    I have a cabel modem(for now) so I downloaded it, and after it finishes, you have to open the files, and extract them to a location, so your friend could burn it on CD for you
