Okay, I lied... nothing exciting in here... just a simple question...
I'm running an apache server, and I can't get rid of that stupid, incredibly annoying thing (button?? icon?? what is it??) occupying valuable space in my (Win95/98) taskbar. Is there any way to remove a program from the taskbar and perhaps have its icon displayed in the (Win95/98) statusbar (the thing with the clock)?
I guess what I'm asking is: Is there a way to control an independant program's properties (such as "App.TaskVisible" etc etc.)
Thanks in advance....

WOW! I'VE SEEN THAT TOO!!!!
I work as a computer technicial for a local school board and I have encountered that problem many a time with the Windows 95/98 operating systems. A stupid little button that won't leave until you click on it. I am also in a search for an answer... We are running Novel Netware, but we usually see this button after a screen saver has shut off! Once I even saw two of them, one was blank, the other said "screen saver" right on it! If ANYONE has any idea to help out it would be appreciated!
thanx

No. No. No. It doesnt have anything to do with Apache... The windows 98 taskbar.... where all the applications' icons reside... at the bottom of the screen? with the start button to the left? How can I make an application's icon disappear from that taskbar.
Anyone know?
Thanks

Inorder to get rid of those taskbar application icons, you will have to put your mouse cursor on it (taskbar) and right click. Then go to Toobars menu and uncheck Quick Launch. I hope thats it!

WOW...just thought l would do a FYI
Known bug in Win95/98
If an app calls something else which should have a window, even briefly, leaves a null button in the taskbar. Not really a problem till you get two or three of the damn things.
