hi,
sorry i know that i am not the best vb programmer but i would like someone to answer these two questions.
1) what is API and how do i use it ?
2) what is active x and how do i use it
examples would help a lot

Take Megatron's Advice
Listen to Megatron and read the article on this site about API calls to learn everything you want. There is even one about Active X and how to use it! Both are written by Karl Moore (Karl Rulez!) and they are not only enormously informative, but also quite funny to read!

I Read his articles about active x and api and he does explain what and how they werk....
