Computer Speakers
Hi again all... I have a question for people who know more than me.
I have a new laptop and I'm trying to think of things I need/want for it. One thing I thought of is a speaker system. I looked on eBay and did a search on Google but I don't know quite what to look for. I don't want like two speakers on the desk - I'd more like a 3 piece or 5 piece set with a subwoofer. We once had a set of two Bose speakers on a monitor and they sounded good, but that's about all I know.
Any thoughts or reccomendations on what kind/brand I should/shouldn't get and where to get them?

The first thing you need is a Sound Blaster Extigy so you can hear what REAL audio quality is...

No, i mean Extigy, it's the external version of the audigy that hooks up via USB, for laptops or other non-internally-upgradeable machines (like Sony VAIOs )

It's, well for lack of a better term, an external sound card...it's $149 but the audio quality will blow your mind.i have the internal version and it's an incredible improvement over my old onboard soudn.
