red alert 2 buddies

hi, I wonder if someone knows how to write a program so you can see if your red alert 2/yuri's revenge buddies are online. Has somebody already write such a program? Where could I find resources for connecting to the westwood gameservers and query them?

You might want to email Westwood to see if they're interested in giving you the specification on how the client/server interaction is done with Red Alert 2 (and Yuri's Revenge). If they won't give it to you, there is probably some info on it on the web (but since the games are relatively new, you might not find anything this way).

You'll have to ask Kovan, he made it up. It's kind of like a competition thingey, but he hasn't told us what we're supposed to do yet
