MSIMN.EXE is a component of Outlook express, But it may be infected or being used by a virus/worm/trojan.

Here is an example of a Worm that uses that file

it is OE but it's a pretty secret exe name.

Sometimes Messenger refuses to close because OE arses up on closing and leaves itself running but not running, if you know what I mean. Often I have to dig about in Task Manager and tell msimn.exe to piss off.

Aye, I've had that one more than one occasion. I stoipped using OE because of it. I use Netscape now.

Well, she just sucks then. Tell her that. Feed her some bull**** about having to click exactly on one of the characters in the subject line in order to open it properly.

Microsoft Internet Mail and News - its name before it became Outlook Express.
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
