MSIMN.EXE is a component of Outlook express, But it may be infected or being used by a virus/worm/trojan.
Here is an example of a Worm that uses that file

it is OE but it's a pretty secret exe name.
Sometimes Messenger refuses to close because OE arses up on closing and leaves itself running but not running, if you know what I mean. Often I have to dig about in Task Manager and tell msimn.exe to piss off.

Aye, I've had that one more than one occasion. I stoipped using OE because of it. I use Netscape now.
Well, she just sucks then. Tell her that. Feed her some bull**** about having to click exactly on one of the characters in the subject line in order to open it properly.

Mail and News was cool, except i seem to remember it didn't support multiple accounts...
