i'm confused about the price range for vb6 pro or enterprise edition ...
in magazines or sites it is about $300 or more!
n in some places they offer it for $50 ... ???
how could that possibly be? ...

Yes. The Acedemic pricing for the Prof. Edition is about $100 USD. I think the Enterprise Edition is $600 USD. (Not too sure though)
And yes, if you were studying in school, you could have got it at a much cheaper price.

My company has a site license for Visual Studio 6.0, so I juet put that on my laptop It pays to work for a big company!

I believe Microsoft site lists VB6 Pro for around $500. I bought mine @ college book store for $99. It's exactly the same as the other one only this one is 'academicaly priced' for students. So if you are or were a student or know a student attending college/university, you can buy it there for a fraction of the price.
