here goes nothing ( resolved )
I've decided to take another leap into the unknown, and aquire some backend java skills.
I'll be attempting to run JSP and Servlets on a Win 2000 PC with IIS. *eekk* where do I start!
So far I've downloaded the JSDK_2.1.zip file from "sun" and unzipped it into a directory.
Now how the hell do i tell javac where the javax.servlet and javax.servlet.http packages are so that I can compile the java file from the command line ??
What else will i need to do to configure IIS and so forth ??
cheers
