Variable Declaration Compulsory
I'm just migrating from VB VB.NET and the first thing that struck me was whether variable declaration is compulsory???.. probably a dumb question, but what the heck... also is this a turn-on, turn-off feature as in VB.NET.

It didn't appear to be optional in beta 2, when I tried it.
It's much better this way - nearly ALL languages apart from the interpreted ones such as Perl require you to declare your variables first.
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
