Right, I've developed an app on one machine and it uses the common controls and a flexgrid. So I take it over to my other machine to edit it there, and as I open it I get errors saying the ocx's can't be opened. I know I can get round it by opening a new project on this machine, adding the necessary controls and saving it, then opening the vbp and taking the relevant lines across to my old project, but what am I SUPPOSED to do, I mean, officially? I don't think this is something that you should have to get around, I think it should work PROPERLY!!!!
Thanks chaps...

You may have different versions of the ocx's. Compare the file dates. When it comes to dll's and ocx's the creation dates are often version numbers.
Iain, thats with an i by the way!

So would that explain why, when I formatted my C: drive recently and reinstalled everything, I got the error then (because I'd reinstalled all the ocx's too)?
