how do i shut down a networked computer running win98 , i know only the computer name

I think you will need to have a program on that computer and with a winsock control you will have to make a server/Client and send information to the client to shut down is machine with a code.

Here is what I am talking about :

[You] ------Send Information to Shutdown cpu---->[win98]
