locking access to disk
I'm working on a project that will allow some users to access the disk and some not , depending on the password they've typed. I want to do this to stop my younger sister from deleting my files.

The operating system has to do this. You need NT - that is Win NT 3.5-40, Win2000, or Win XP.
You must require a login. Eudaimonium gets Admin privs, Sister gets base user privs. Then you can lock het of directories, etc.
This is the only way you can do it that is foolproof.
If you can't afford that, you are going to have to use Norton Ghost to image your disk, and then restore when she breaks something.
