Thread: Important....Changing the Explorer Folder

    Hi All,

    All I need is I need windows explorer to open a different folder, i.e. to open a directory created by me.. Is there any way to control this?

    Thanx for any help.

    Hello,
    Create a shortcut to Windows Explorer on the desktop. Right click the shortcut and open the properties.

    Under Target text box, key in
    C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,C:\lakshmi\
    where "c:\lakshmi" is the desired directory you want the explorer to open to.

    Try using:

    Shell "explorer C:\WINDOWS\"


    whe4re C:\WINDOWS is whatever directory you want explorer to be open to.
