Desperate for Inspiration

After all the excitement of waiting for the delivery of my Vb6 Pro upgrade, I finally installed it ready to perform some new miraculous act of programming with all this new functionality, when my mind went totally blank for things to do. I've been racking by brain for ages and I'm even considering delving into databases (mental klaxons would normally be ringing around this point!). I doubt the Samaritans will be able to help me out of this rut, so I appeal to you guys.

Anyone want any freelancing doing?

Maybe you could help solve this subclassing problem. If you can subclass and achieve this, I imagine you'll be opening a new world of things to do.

C'mon guys I'm bored to death!

Try exploring different controls that you don't know about or do not know too much about. Or you can do the same with Functions. Try to explore different kinds of Functions that VB has and try to find some that you never knew existed.

OK OK, wossname, here is something you could do, and I think many people would appreciate it. A few weeks back I got some code for sending email via pure API, but the code was very messy, and basically, not very user friendly.

Now, what i was going to do, was transfer all this winsock API code into Class module, for easy email sending through VB... But I just haven't got the time for this. REM, I'll have a bash at your problem. But why are you so aversed to using the winsock control?

*sigh* why can't people want nice controls instead of these cliche'd internet based concepts. Email has been done to death in my opinion but never-the-less i'll give it a shot.
