i have a bunch of information that my program collects. I am looking for a way, like a tree view to sort it with catagories and sub catagories and the like.
ex:
fruit
---apple
---pear
---orange
cars
---honda
---mercedes
etc...

Treeview, you said it yourself, use the treeview control, it's made for that purpose. The nodes property is a classcollection of nodes which you use to add items to your tree with specific relations to other nodes, look it up at vb help

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.
