    Question Printer..help me to pull the printer...

    Hi,

    for a very simple project i need to pull back the dot matrix printer or roller reverse action for few lines. is there any escape sequences for that in doing it in VB ..??

    Kindly help me out..please

    If you look in the manual for the dot matrix printer it should have a list of command codes which you can send it.

    Sorry boss there is no such control given in the manuel. kinldy let me know the general idea of doing it

    hi

    not all esc-Seqences are the same. i.e. HP uses PCL and Epson uses ESC P -Sequences. You have to look in your printer manual. if you find one there you can send it with vb.

    I had to do something similar a few years ago, and I wound up contacting the company that made the printer, and asked them how to do it (it was Epson). They were very helpful. Just a suggestion.
