Game Sprites!!!
I love making games but they lack something... What could it be? Oh yeah I can't make desent artwork, background/sprits/ANYTHING! I'd really appreaciate it if anybody knew where I could get some free sprites and or backgrounds.
THANKS Y'ALL!

Well, what I did for graphics was I searched the internet for RPG Maker websites. There's quite a few out there with all sorts of stuff for the RPG Maker program that you can use quite easily use in your games.
I see said the blind man as he spat into the wind.
It all comes back to me now!

Good Ol' Platypus
Or you could make your own in Paint!
<-- Look here; this is a quick Santa costume of him, looks a bit shabby, but the real thing looks really good
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
(Just a heads-up)

Thanks Drewski, I'll try that. Sastraxi, I already do use paint but it is way too time consuming. I use to just do it and it took about as long as writing the games code! I don't have any high power graphic apps and dont have the budget for it. I'm making a side scrolling and would like it to have many different sprites. But thanks, and thats a really good santa icon... can't believe it was done in paint!!!

Hey dude, look what I just found a few days ago:
http://www.anim8or.com
Download the animation program there. Its cool! Atleast that's what I think. What I thought cool was that the download for, such a nice program and powerful prog, was only 600k! And its FREE! I like the program because it is simple to use and learn. I was just thinking you could use this as an alternative source of graphics if you wanted something original. I could post some pics of what I've already made if you want me too.
BTW
I would suggest downloading their manual and reading through it. Its quite complete on how to use the program.
Hope this is a helpful tidbit,
Drewski
