Realism is for the weak
There's no "Real programmers" only Unreal torunament
Use
writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

How's about this...
There is no Santa Claus, only a fat mental patient that frequents my chimney around the holidays.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.
Take credit, not responsibility

There's no fat mental patient that frquents your chimney around the holidays, unless you believe in such nonsense, in fact i'd rather have Santa Claus in my chimney than som psycho killer.
My point is that to really think something exists is like getting stuck outside your house with keys inside and door locked on a ice cold christmas holiday and with no clothes...

Hey, that's fun for the first couple of minutes!
I guess I see your point, though I'm probably not seeing the same point as you intended (that happens to me a lot ).
So, you go through life thinking nothing exists?

Nope, I don't have a life
Actually, I think you can call the guy coming trough your chimney at christmas Santa Claus for a practical purpose. I don't have any children though so I would just kick his ass so hard he would fly back out of the chimney that he wouldn't come back next xmas

Nah, he's fun. We play checkers, watch "A Christmas Story", then I get a sock filled with "presents" that he stole from other crazies.
Its a good time for all.
