    Hi guys and gals,

    How to open an Access database 2000 by Visual Basic
    in Novell environment
    (not creatable - can update environment).
    Because everytime I call OpenDatabase, VB creates
    lbl file of Access in the same folder as the mdb.

    If I open the file by Access itself, it does successful
    create the lbl (eventhough with the same access-right).

    Does any one know how to solve it ?

    Can you open the mdb2000 from a local drive without problems ?

    Yes successfully, because my local drive doesn't have
    non-creatable, can update access-permission.

    How to do it ?
