    SQL Question

    in sql if you are inserting a value in to a text field, when there is a ' in the text string i get an error... is there any way to allow ' in a text string when you are using SQL?

    I think if you replace it with 2 '' (not a quote) it will work.

    ok thanks... is there a function that i can use to look in my fields and repalce ' with '' ? i seem to remember that there is somthing in vb do this...

    for each of your fields, use the Replace() function before putting them into the DB.
