Ok, how come whenever i download a file in netscape it only goes at 17kb\s and when i download one in internet explorer it downloads at like 100kb\s
And how come i can only dl 2 files at a time in explorer and as many as i want in netscape?
Whats going on here. Which browser do u guys honestly think is better (not judging that Explorer is made by Mircosoft)
ok, so... windows takes 1 minute to search for a file on my PC yet google.com takes 1 second to search the entire internet?

Are you serious? I download all kinds of files at the same time with IE, although usually no more than 4-5 at a time.
As far as downloading at 17kb on one browser, and 100kb on another, this is just a matter of the browsers reporting incorrect speeds. If you really want to guage your speed, then go to http://www.analogx.com and look for something called net stats live,,,or something like that. It should give you more of an acurate speed. Then compair the two browsers. Use the one you like best.

The Explorer Only allows everyone under the default setting to download 2 things from one website, I beleive that there is a way to control how much can be downloaded at a time, but i'm not sure were.
Also The Speed...
Also have you ever noticed that the internet explorer is much faster then netscape. Because a Person with 23 Billion Dollars designed one, and Some guy in Some place made netscape. Do you know that NETSCAPE can't handle DHTML? That Sucks, So I were to choose one of them, I would choose Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
The Fastest browser that I know of, is called OPERA, but it costs $30

Yes, I've also noticed that Explorer is much faster. I used Netscape for a while but switched to Explorer, because of it's speed.

Honestly.
I i dont' know for you but i download i at the same speed
with both browser around 75Kb/s to 350Kb/s.
Maybe just a probelm with your netscape.
Do you log in with your user name when you boot your
windows. Maybe
As is for speed, well IE and Netscape are as fast as each
other. No signicant difference. And i have to correct
Domava but netscape do support dhtml i should know i'm
developping on it.
I use both, ussually Netscape coz i hat those damn java
popup, and IE coz i'm a VB developper and i like to see
my ActiveX on my web pages.
If possible please provide codes.
Process by example is the best way to learn.

Netscape sucks. I threw mine away. IE5 works muck smoother. The only reason people BUY netscape is because of being afraid of the big "M" and their stronghold on america. If you are lookin for a kick in the pants download prog. look for "Get Right", but I dumped it after IE5 came out because I can D.L. up to 5 at a time, just fine. I.E. will also resume D.L.'s that are interrupted, (like Get Right), so it was a waste to me. As soon as the Justice dept makes us pay for I.E. to "make competition more fair" we can expect to shell out our cash for what we now get free.
