Mih_Flyer,
You're right, VB5 has crystal report as its addons. But, for VB6, I don't think that I ever found crystal report as its addons.
Recently, I also use Crystal Report 7.0 for my report application. I bought it separately from VB6. Because, Crystal Report 7.0 has grown into separate application from VB 6.
I don't know whether this is true or not, but for Crystal Report ver 6.0, you can download it from http://www.seagate.com for free.
For crystal report 7, I don't think you can get it free by download. You should pay for it.
And I think, crystal report has now grown to version 8
Cheers,

crysrept
I got this from Experts Exchange. On the VB CD go to Common/Tools/Vb/crysrept. You should find it there. Its crysrept, not crystal report. They put both words together and you are not the only one who couldn't find it.

Kokopeli is correct, guys. Crystal Reports IS on the VB6 CD (it is a couple versions behind the stand-alone product, but it is adequate for most reporting needs (I use it all the time)). Unlike previous of versions of VB, CR did not automatically install with VB6, but once you find the CrysRept folder, you just run the setup program and it installs in seconds. When you start VB again, you'll see "Report Designer" in the Add-Ins menu.
"It's cold gin time again ..."
