Using Windows 98, does anyone know how to find the domain name of a certain server? I dunno if I am asking this correctly. But I am using socket wrench tools and in order to connect, I have to enter a user name, number, password, and a domain.

Try This.
I Used to know how to get the domain name using the ms.dos prompt but since ive been studying only vb i forgot...but go to this url
http://www.network-tools.com/4/ and select the option button next to "WWWHOIS" and then in the submit field type in the url of the domain you are interested in getting.
For example...i used WWWHOIS To find the doman name for vb-world.net and i got these
NS1.DN.NET 206.43.192.76
NS2.DN.NET 206.197.81.10
NS3.DN.NET 206.197.81.11
Hope this helps!
