    Question

Does anyone know how to send a cd track, a wav file, or any kind of prerecorded sound through the line after a telephone number has been dialed? So the person on the other end would hear it? The closest I can come (in theory) is a computer controlled lifting arm for the telephone next to my speakers. There's gotta be a better way!
Is it tired in here or is it just me?

It has something to do with TAPI. All programs that do it (voicemail programs usually) require TAPI modems.

I know the SDK has al kinds of stuff on TAPI, but I've never used it.

My USR modem and Soundblaster live have a cord that runs between them inside the case...
