help! joystick detection! urgent!!
how to write a program that can detect joystick and its movement?!!!!

You can use either DirectInput or the Joystick API calls. I suggest looking on somewhere like here or vbapi.net or something like that to find out how to use them. For DirectInput, look here:

any more example?
well, i'm new with VB n i not sure that i can understand about that API funct or struct.
n i try to access the pages but the loading is quite slow.
where can i find a very simple n direct program as reference. i just need to detect my joystick( using gameport ) n left, right, up n down movement. that's o. no need the buttons or others.
