A T3 is sometimes known as a T45 because it is a 45mbit link
a 2mbit link is 2/8 mbytes
so 250kbytes per second
A T3 may not be that fast though, for example if your running ATM on it so you can split up the pipe and plan for higher bandwidth in the future you'll notice a quite an overhead.
I could go on for hours... and I will
Just kidding, why do you ask?
