To understand recursion, one must first understand the concept of recursion.

Good Ol' Platypus
What problem are you having opening it, if any? If you aren't having troubles, what's the problem?

OK this should work:
Pick up your cat
Throw it at a moving car
Pick up limp, bloodied remains of cat
Kick it viciously about 5000 times
Say a few choice words to the battered fuzz that used to be your cat
Buy a knife and slice the cat into ribbons
Say more choice words to the strips of furry carnage that used to be your cat
Buy a new cat
Wire the cat's mouth shut
Buy VB again
Let me know how it goes.

You've probably figured out why 'backup' isn't four-letter word.
However - if you need to reinstall VB, consider going to www.ebay.com. For some reason, VB Pro & learning editions are very cheap - I guess because VB.Net is due out shortly.
