Smile My First Project Any Help Appreciated

Simple project Anyone want to Help ????

I have very limited vb experience but would like to develop a program to test that will replace the old fashioned time clock used for clocking In & Out.

The aim of the project is not to check on staff, but to improve building safety & security whilst improving entry point messaging.

The program needs to be dummy user friendly, store all staff I/O data for up to 90 days, have easy load / store photo ID for staff & visitors, a secure messaging facility & all the usual staff / visitor data. The program will need the ability to provide the user with various reports too.

I have made a fully functional version in Access but would like to develop it as a stand alone application and as you will see from my profile I'm a firefighter not a programmer but I'm learing, slowly !

Anyone interested please feel free to chip in.

Needs a small amount of animation as well if anyones interested

Government is another way to say better…than…you.
It’s like ice but no pick, a murder charge that won’t stick,
it’s like a whole other world where you can smell the food,
but you can’t touch the silverware.
Huh, what luck. Fascism you can vote for.
    Humph, isn’t that sweet?
And we’re all gonna die some day, because that’s the American way
