The Xp controls source code was not created by me. However I have modified and compilied them.
Also found a realy cool fade routine check it out and give me some feed back guys thanks
PS. The controls are included in the zip file so you can compile and run the demo

I have also the problem with the pink bits, they also show up on your sample picture, rudv2.
I think, you have your sourcecode for the controls from
http://www.planetsourcecode.com/xq/A...s/ShowCode.htm
got that code now and read a bit around in it. the user control xp_canvas uses a function called AutoFormShape that is supposed to remove this pink bits. But for some reason I don't understand, it does not do so. at least on my computer! someone else a clue?

Bang on fokker thats where i got it from
Umm One of the reasons i posted the form fade routine is becuase i was playing with the concept of using that function to hide the pick bits
I think if I somehow make it fade the actual form but leve the picturebox that overlays the form opaque it should work
I havnt had time to finish messing around with it (work) but i am hoping to carry on playing with it this weekend
