    What arguments do I need to pass?? Do I have to use Regopenkey before that? Does it also mean that the changes will take immediate effect?? PLEASE HELP!

    That depends on what root key you need:

    Public Const HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT = &H80000000
    Public Const HKEY_CURRENT_USER = &H80000001
    Public Const HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE = &H80000002
    Public Const HKEY_USERS = &H80000003
    Public Const HKEY_PERFORMANCE_DATA = &H80000004
    Public Const HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG = &H80000005
    Public Const HKEY_DYN_DATA = &H80000006

    IE:

    RegFlushKey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    Use
    writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
    writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
    To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.
