    Thumbs up Glad you asked

Ok a Yowie is a chocolate thing which is wrapped around a plastic box containing a toy you make up.

Currently they are doing a series of prehistoric oz creatures.

Now a Diprotodon was the largest marsupial to ever live, and are related to wombats. They grew to the size of hippopotamus. Probably lived in herds for protection and were plant eaters. They lived during the late pleistocene.

Yes l just read this on the directions for putting the toy together.

More oz dialect lessions for Batman

    Ok Blokes,

In America you would say something like

"You Guys are going to the pub, you lucky things"

    In Oz we would say

"You blokes are off to the pub, you lucky bastards"

Bastard is a term of endearment in oz.

Yowies are named after a mythical creature that is meant to live in the bush. Sort of like big foot. Don't know if it's a Koori word.

Bush = the outback, the great outdoors, the forest, the desert.

Koori = native australian. The blokes John Howard wont say sorry to for stealing their land and kids.

    John Howard = <Snip! - James>.

Thumbs up Testicle has it right

John Howard = Australian Prime Minister.

Calling John Howard a bastard wouldn't be using a term of endearment even in oz.
