I want to make a communication program, with file transfer capabilities..ideally MP3, then either make my own MP3 player, or use winamp, to put the downloaded mp3 at the end of the current winamp play list, anyone interested in helping?

I was going to make something similar, where u could talk and then transfer mp3s, and listen to them while they're downloading (u can listen to mp3s even if they're broken), so u would buffer and play them as if they were being streamed, give me some more information and then may be we can get together and make somehting..

more details, well skins are nice, i don't know, i just think that sort of thing is great, I use mIRC to get my MP3s and i find it annoying when you have to manually enter the track into the winamp play list, or the Sonique playlist, so, that is why i wanted to make such a thing. A server would be the tricky thing..

Sounds like you're describing Napster(napster.com).

Ya but keep in mind guys the Streaming is not Stereo. So it suxs and is not worth dealing with at this time.
Napster is by far the best out there and, anything after that is just a clone with pretty buttons and skins.
There's only two things universal in this world and thats Hydrogen and Stupidity.

who cares?
it has pretty buttons and skins... more the reason to download your product, and not napster...
people love pretty buttons and skins.
like that one browser, I cant remember the name.. it is like neoplanet or something... but. it had pretty buttons and skins... it was very popular, until the users found out they were being spied on by the company... thats why its not so popular anymore..
this is all true
although I am not 100% sure the name of the browser was neoplanet...
