    Suggestion probably already suggested.

    Just finkin about Posting in different places on these boards.

    Say I post in Database and replicate the post in General VB, you get two threads, one may be answered the other may be not.

    Wot about putting a 'Also Post In' option button set which can replicate the post in each of those areas ? So, when the thread gets replied to, it gets updated in each place.

    Lot-o-work & probalby asked a thousand time before I s'pose...

    Well...

    Perhaps people don't visit boards that often, for whatever reason, then other people whinge about something not being in the right place......If you post in two boards max-exposure for urgent stuff is guaranteed. If the same threadID is used, it's not two records it merely appears in two places.

    It might not have occurred to you, HB, but there are plenty of times when something could actually apply to a couple of forums. Just because a question is based on some code that's being used for games programming doesn't mean that it isn't also appropriate for the General VB or even the Database section.

    I'm all for FBP's idea.
