    outlook msg -open- excute

    is it posible to run an .exe file or .com file to run automatically when ever an email is opened from outlook, if so how, please help . replies will be help full.

    hi
    like say when a financial report which is excuting in access or foxpro is been attached thru the mail, when user opens the mail it has to automatically(vfp or acees) open.

    You could run a mail check, using ole, then check the file attachment. And open it with it's default program...

    There are quite a few threads about mail programs, so I suggest you search as it is rather complicated code to just "whip up" ...
