    how is it going. listen i have a program that i made into an exe, but then I deleted all of the files an now i am stuck with a exe but i need the files. can you do it and if you can how?

    Unless your files are in your Recycled bin you're out of luck.

    I've read a few online conversations on decompiling VB and from what I can gather they manage to gain enough info on how things worked so thay could write a very similar program (performance and functionality wise) it's not like the source code just lands in their lap.

    If you wrote the code in the first place, you know as much as you are likely to learn from decompilation. It won't save you typing time.

    To undelete your files, go to http://www.recover98 and get their software. It works really well.
