Yeah, very logical, if you build a whole logical framework around the assumption that everything in the bible must be true.

Why is it you assume that we're not giving it a chance? I have repeatedly put points to you, points that you have failed to address. I'm fed up trying to get an intelligent response from you and I'm suprised others persist.

If you start with the assmption that Jesus (and all that's said about him) is true and all you ever do is try to make the facts fit with your prior assumption, how is that logical?

If the answers you've give were 'to the best of your ability' then you believe this stuff very easily. You can't have given it much thought if you can't come up with any decent reasons for believing it other than bible quotes. Judging by your logic skills, I can't say I'm optimistic about finding the evidence it took for you to believe to be at all convincing.

So far this week I have kept well away from posting on the J4U issue. I intend to do so in future. However, I would make the point again to you that the guy you're dealing with 'NEEDS' to preach, to feel he is an upstanding 'Christian'. He 'NEEDS' to do this for himself, to make himself worth something, to be noticed.
His rhetoric has very little to do with christianity it has to do with the ego of a very sad individual.

All of you who have attempted to engage him in debate have done so valliantly, in a constrained and educated manner, but have failed miserably.

For a time, J4U was confined to his own thread. I feel that was working as the boards were not polluted. Resurrecting these threads only feeds his ego and gives him what he craves.

I'm not saying ignore him if you don't wan't to, but you only have to look at his replies to note how arrogant, conceited and condescending he is being. That is not Christian behaviour. He never answers any of your questions to your saisfaction and I do feel ultimately, he beleives himself to be a martyr taking the 'slings and arrows' for his 'belief's as Gaffer put it.

That's what he wants from you and you're giving it to him and rather than being disappointed that you have'nt seen his particular brand of light, he's ecstatic about feeling he's being martyred for his cause.

You've never even attempted to address any of the points I have put to you. I have even responded to some of the, so called "proofs" that you have posted but these have, once again, been ignored.

You think you are being strong for standing up for what you believe in? Twaddle (for want of a more offensive word)! If you really cared in the slightest about bringing us into the "light", you would make more of an attempt to explain things to us on our level as does Tygur. Take a leaf out of his book, he talks to us and not at us.
