Java Sucks!
I see I got your attention. I just installed the Java 2 Platform,
uninstalled it, and guess what. The damned virtual machine is
friggin gone. I am really pissed at this point.
I go to the java sight and immediately it tells me I need VM. So
I download it but it says it can only be updated with Windows
2000 SP2, so I downloaded it. I still get the same message
when I go to sights that needs VM. How in the hell am I
supposed to update VM if it is totally gone!

Why did you uninstall the jdk anyway? I guess when you unstall the VM goes with it. Try going to Micro$ofts site to get the VM.
I know they have a download because Windows XP dosent come with the Java VM.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/r...7433&PopList=7
for windows 2000 users, there's only a link to service pack 2
which only updates the VM.
I guess I'll be reinstalling windows.

I guess this is what I get for downloading a beta.
It uninstalls something without even prompting.
You suck, java!
