I use the package and deployment wizard to distribute my app and when being installed on some workstations its fine but on others it runs thro the dll's very quickly, then says that seetup has detected out of date files - say yes to update them, reboot machine and run setup again. You do all this but next time you run setup you get the same problem so your'e in a loop - anybody got any ideas? I'm not distributing anything strange - just an app using ADO's and some Crystal reports

The the P&DW wizard, I find is not too good. You should use Inno Setup, it's much better. And it's free too.

Where can I get my hands to the Inno Setup. And what's the difference???

Visual Studio Installer 1.0
I prefer to use the Visual Studio Installer 1.0, which enable me to create a Win2000 installation wizard look GUI. Cool Man
