    I need some help.. I want to control my lcd display from visual basic but I don't know how to.. My lcd display understands ascii and it is connected to LPT1..
    I can get it to work with winamp but I want outher stuff on it too.. I have used this connection diagram

    I know winamp has a plugin that will do that. it works with an hd44780 chip(yours probably has it). Very neat, customizable, and available at winamp.com if you ever figure out how to program on that lcd, email me. it's been bugging me for ages.
