    ... an ODBC Database?

    Do I need any other software than VB6 Pro?

    Plus, How do I add fields and indexes to it?

    A prize to those that answer helpfully (RE. Artificial Intelligence).

    short of it

    odbc is your driver for a database
    open a new vb project
    go to addins
    select visual data manager
    this opens visa data
    file new...
    it's all there..the different databases etc
    It's too big for a simple how do I

    But the functionality is in vb6 so the gist of it will be in msdn help.
