    I have created an ActiveX DLL in VB6 and created a class called Visit.

    I am calling it in ASP:

    <%@ Language=VBScript %>

    <html>

    <%
    Dim objVisit
    set objVisit = server.CreateObject("Project1.Visit")

    %>

    </HTML>

    However I get the following Error:

    Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'
    Server.CreateObject Failed
    /local/Test.asp, line 12 800401f3

    Does anybody know what I am doing wrong ?

    Thanks for your reply dvst8.

    I created the dll but I don't think I have registered it. How do I go about registering my dll ?

    Cool

    since you are using VB6, to create your dll file, you just simply select "Make <project>.dll" in the "file" menu. VB6 will create the dll file and register it at the same time.(maybe you did), or you can register it yourself.
    go to windows "start"->"Run"-> enter "regsvr32 <project>.dll" (make sure you target where the file is.).
    that should do it.

    I hope this will help
