Change IE's Default SEARCH
Can anyone tell me if JavaScript can change IE's SEARCH setting to a site of my choice?
Thanks

I have a friend that said he went to a site and after he left he noticed that IE was now pointing back to that site in the Search.
What's up with that?

You can't with Javascript or any other browser language, but Google uses a registry patch so you can change the search engine to them...

it is under this registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search
just change the value of one of them and see. make sure you back it up first.
