Crap QuiZ Need Answer Quick!

Hi I need answer to a Q pronto, this is my Q,

One day three guys went to a motel. they wanted to buy a room. the guy at the motel told them it will be 30$, so the three guys paid it 10$ each. after a while the motel guy realized that he had made a mistake and the room was 25$ and not 30$. so the motel guy told the bellboy to give the extra 5$ dollars to the three guys. but the bellboy found it difficult to devide 5 by 3, so he gave 1$ each to the three guys and kept the 2$ to himself. he did this and was walking down the stairs when he realized that now the three guys have given 9$ each, and that means a total of 27$ (3 x 9) , and plus the 2$ he have it would be 29# what happened to the other 1$?
