I’ve been set a task to create a custom toolbar on internet explorer which contains a search box which links to the company search engine. It should also hold a few links. I am aware of the IEAK package and I don’t mind creating an IE build to distribute the browser with the toolbar built in, but i need to know ho to build the toolbar, which would be in VB is suppose. If i could just build the bar it would be a start, and then IE can import it when i create the custom build using IEAK...
I have however heard of other possible solutions involving registry editing!?! I really am a complete novice at both VB and Regediting, but have fair bit of experience with web programming. What is important is that it can be easily transferred onto the companies intranet computers. Other examples of this type of stuff are used by Yahoo in their Toolbar Companion etc.
Please Help!!!
THANX LOADS....

I saved some MSDN documentation in html format and posted the zip you won't be able to click the links but it should help you get started.
